Troxerutin

Troxerutin

Troxerutin

(Styphnolobium japonicum)

Description

Troxerutin is a natural bioflavonoid derived from rutin extracted from the flowers of the Japanese camphor.

Features

It helps to maintain the physiological functions of the capillaries by preventing the walls of the vessels from becoming fragile.

The mechanism of action of bioflavonoids is not completely known, the hypothesis currently most credited is that troxerutin promotes the permanence and concentration of adrenaline in the circulation. Adrenaline would therefore exert a peripheral vasoconstrictive action.

Benefits

  • Increases the resistance of the vessels (capillaroprotective action)
  • Decreases permeability, preventing the excess passage of the liquid component of the blood to the tissues (anti-permeabilizing and anti-edemigenous action)
